Land Subdivision

At WPA, we’ve handled many residential and commercial land subdivision projects ranging in size from two to in excess of 2500 lots. The following case histories tell you a little more about the challenges and scope of some of our major projects.

Thornhill Park, Rockbank
WPA’s success in managing the re-zoning process in record time has contributed to a successful outcome for developers the Welsh Group. We are project managing this masterplanned community in Melbourne’s west, which will finally comprise over 2500 lots.

The Ivy, Doreen
When the prestigious private school Ivanhoe Grammar identified 28 hectares of land at its Plenty Campus as excess to its needs, WPA conducted feasibility studies and has acted as development manager of the site from re-zoning through to construction, sales and marketing.

WPA has been involved in a range of developments at Collard Drive for several different clients. Ranging in size from 11 to 23 lots, these projects involved providing the maximum value for clients from relatively difficult sites.

Armstrong Creek Town Centre
WPA has assisted Welsh Group in obtaining planning permits for the first stage of the Armstrong Creek Town Centre, which sits central to the fastest growing suburb for lot sales in Victoria, which will accommodate over half of the projected population of Geelong over the next 20 years. The town centre will incorporate 16ha of retail, commercial and civic spaces that will provide key facilities and services to the growing community. WPA’s key role has now shifted towards project delivery and negotiating with adjoining landowners and key stakeholders to assist with construction commencing in late 2018.

Multi-unit / Apartment

WPA has managed many Planning Permits in the multi-unit/apartment market from small six-unit projects to larger and more complex mixed-use developments.

Strategic Planning

WPA has provided strategic planning guidance and advice for several rezone projects as well as contributing to and preparing a range of development plans and precinct structure plans. This service has also extended to assisting with land acquisition projects and compensation claims.
